If selling, renting or obtaining green energy grants for your house or flat, we can provide you with the legally required EPC. Following a survey of your house taking around 1 hour we produce the EPC (rated A-G) using government approved software through our accreditation body Quidos. The EPC will then be available on the government register (see link below). The EPC will also include a report on how the building can be upgraded.

If you are constructing a new dwelling (house or flat) you are required to provide a energy calculation to your Building Control Provider. This is done using the government approved SAP energy calculation. At NS-EPC we are registered with the Elmhurst accreditation scheme to provide SAP calculations.

First we carry out a "as designed" calculation prior to the works commencing onsite, this confirms the design of the building complies with the requirements set by government. Once completed we carry out a "as built" calculation which in turn generates the EPC.

A surveyor for over 25 years I bring my extensive knowledge of construction to provide accurate EPCs and advice on how to improve them. I am a registered building inspector (class 2a-d), a member of the Chartered Association of Building Engineers, have a Degree in Building from the Nottingham Trent University and I am a qualfied DEA (domestic energy assessor) and OCDEA (on construction domestic energy assessor). I am currently working towards qualfying as a commercial buidlings energy assessor.
